Today, Tropicana Homes owner Randy Bowling joined Habitat for Humanity of El Paso in celebrating a life-changing milestone as the Martinez family received the keys to their new home. For Griselda Martinez and her three children, this home represents so much more than four walls and a roof. It is the beginning of a new chapter filled with stability, security, and hope after years of overcoming extraordinary challenges. Habitat for Humanity’s mission is built on the belief that everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to call home. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners, families like the Martinez family are given the opportunity to achieve the dream of homeownership through hard work, financial education, and hundreds of hours of sweat equity.

Tropicana Homes owner Randy Bowling was honored to take part in today’s home dedication by presenting the keys to the Martinez family. Randy not only donated the lot for this home—his second lot donation to Habitat for Humanity of El Paso—but also volunteered alongside others to help construct the home, demonstrating Tropicana Homes’ ongoing commitment to strengthening our community through partnerships like Habitat for Humanity.

The Martinez family’s journey is one of resilience and determination. After years of moving from one home to another while caring for their children, they now have a place where they can put down roots, create lasting memories, and look toward the future with confidence.
